How to get your crash data

When you encounter a crash, if it can be reproduced by some specific steps:

Then,

It is highly appreciated that if you can tell us :

the specific steps that cause the crash;
The browser version you are using;
provide us the crash data

Ps: Two methods to get your crash data:

You can press "Win + R" keyboard > run "%temp%" and press "Enter" > find the folder "MaxthonCrashData" > compress the folder and send it to us.
You can also find it directly from the following path: C:\Users\#Your User ID#\AppData\Local\Temp\MaxthonCrashData. The whole complete MaxthonCrashDate folder will be highly appreciated instead of only certain .txt document in it.

Thanks for helping Maxthon improve all the time.

And today, we bring you the latest beta version 5.0.2.1600 and welcome all of you to have a try!

We sincerely thank all the users who give us valuable feedback, which helped us find lots of bugs and fix them.

Three languages are added and the bug with bookmarlet is also fixed in this version!

Your advice and suggestions are always the wheels of our progress!

Below is an installation instruction for your reference.

Copy Maxthon: open "Finder", find the newly downloaded "Maxthon" from "Download" folder. Right click and execute "Copy 'Maxthon'";
Paste Maxthon to Applications: open "Applications" in "Finder", right click blank space and choose "Paste Item";
If MX4 was installed before, there will appear a notice "An older item named 'Maxthon' already exists in this location. Do you want to replace it with the newer one you're removing?" we highly recommend you to choose "Keep Both" (MX5 and MX4 can coexist without any interference

the latest Maxthon5 iOS version is alive on App Store now!

If you already got Maxthon5 on your iPhone,

then you can directly go you AppStore and update it

Here is the changelog:

Upgrade to the latest WKWebView core. Use less memory with enhanced stability and faster loading speed;
Optimized startup speed;
Optimized the speed to enter multi-tab manage page;
Fixed the display issue in full-screen mode for some sites.

Hi,

There have been some minor adjustments to the forum layout.

With the general release of MX5 and the expectation that many users will be updating to MX5, all product support for MX5, MX4 and other related Maxthon products will now take place in the Maxthon Support & Discussion forum.

The old MX4 discussions will be locked for reference only and are now a sub-forum of the main support forum.

We hope this makes it a little easier to find the correct place to post any issues/requests or other comments.

If you have any suggestions please post to let us know.
